Massachusetts Housing and Shelter Alliance

Under an innovative program, in partnership with the Massachusetts Housing and Shelter Alliance (the umbrella organization for homeless shelters and other advocates), HFI provides technical assistance to the more than eighty homeless programs across the state. Our social workers go from bed to bed in Boston area shelters helping shelter guests sign up for MassHealth, replace lost cards, re-establish lost benefits, upgrade benefits, connect with providers and help with other general access issues unique to the homeless.
