The "Best Practices Roundtable" around the free care pool, the Virtual Gateway and Medicaid operational changes is designed to offer providers a forum for sharing experiences, information and best practices around constantly evolving enrollment changes.
The group is an "invitation only" group with participants coming from hospitals, Community Health Centers and government agencies including Department of Medical Assistance (DMA), Department Health Care Finance And Policy (DHCFAP) and representatives from the legislature. The product of the session will be a guide to assist hospitals and other providers in navigating the many changes in the Pool and Medicaid, which Healthcare Financial, Inc. and Salient Health Solutions will distribute. This is a joint effort between Healthcare Financial, Inc., the leader in helping hospitals enroll the uninsured in Medicaid and other health programs, and Salient Health Solutions, whose goal is to create practical solutions for health care providers to reach their own goals of compliancy, efficiency and fiscal stability.
Please note: As inevitable federal cuts to the Medicaid program take place, more rapid and disruptive changes will take place over the next several years.
